BSc (Hons) Sports Rehabilitation

Clinical expertise in musculoskeletal recovery, load management, and how the body responds to sustained physical and physiological stress.

Advanced Studies — Nutrition & Sports Massage

Practical application of nutritional timing and soft-tissue work within a recovery-focused framework — not as standalone treatments, but as integrated protocol components.

10 Years in Non-Standard Hours Industries

Retail, hospitality, and tourism. The fatigue, the broken sleep, the weight that accumulates at the midsection, the difficulty training when your body is running on four hours — Jon worked it, not just read it.

Why this exists.

The clinical foundation

BSc (Hons) Sports Rehabilitation, followed by advanced study in Nutrition and Sports Massage. The focus from the start: recovery — how the body absorbs stress and rebuilds from it.

A decade outside the 9-to-5

Ten years working in retail, hospitality, and tourism. The hours are unpredictable. The rosters rotate. The advice available — from GPs, from fitness apps, from well-meaning colleagues — is built for someone who sleeps at 11 PM and wakes at 7.

The pattern becomes personal

Watching the same decline play out in family and colleagues — including someone close to Jon working long-haul aviation — made the scale of the problem impossible to ignore. The physical toll of non-standard hours is not individual misfortune. It is a systemic gap in how health services are designed.

Circadian biology meets HRV

The pivot: connecting Heart Rate Variability data — a direct window into autonomic nervous system state — to the specific demands of the shift roster. Not wellness scores. Biological reality, mapped to the hours a person actually works.

Circadex Performance

The company exists to give shift workers access to the same standard of biological support that professional athletes use — adapted for the roster, not the training camp. The goal is not to help people cope with their hours. It is to help them master their biology within them.

What Circadex is not.

Not a generic PT service

We do not sell training programmes that work for a person who wakes at 7 AM and trains at 6 PM. Everything is mapped to your roster.

Not a wellness brand

No supplements, no detox plans, no motivational content. Protocols grounded in physiology.

Not a GP substitute

We do not diagnose or treat medical conditions. If something needs clinical investigation, we say so and point you in the right direction.
